William Warner Jones (May 22, 1922-June 5, 2003) worked as an insurance agent during his life and had an abiding interest in local history, especially on the subject of Blennerhassett Island, the Blennerhassett family, and the Blennerhassett-Burr Conspiracy. Volumes are composed of amateur-bound books of copies of historical documents as well as articles about the Blennerhassetts.

This collection consists of a scrapbook containing photographs, newspaper clippings, and ephemera related to the Azalea Garden Club of Huntington and Goodno’s travels as a nationally-recognized flower show judge. Also included in the scrapbook are clippings and snapshots of husband John Alden Goodno, as well as other family photographs. The cover of the scrapbook states, “Reba Garden Awards * Activities, Narcissus Show, Blue Ribbons: JAG – Reba family 1937, Paul/Lucille 1988 club, Wedding invites 1929, Herald dance picture at Barry Seaview Party, Reba family reunion, 1934”. Some of the photographs in the scrapbook are labelled.

This collection contains two scrapbooks and several loose photographs documenting Mark Freeman’s personal life and time in the United States Navy in the 1950s. The green scrapbook is composed entirely of unidentified and unlabeled photographs of Freeman’s navy service, mostly of photos taken from his ship. Other notable groups of photographs in the scrapbook include photographs of women and sights in Japan. This collection consists of two series, with Series I containing material related to genealogy and Series II containing professional papers relevant to Richard Marks’ career at the NSA and CIA. The bulk of the collection consists of Mr. Marks' genealogical research on his family, including publications, family trees, forms, and other research tools. Professional papers include a Turkish-American Association exhibit of stamps between 1961-1965, as well as clippings, white papers, pamphlets, and booklets related to foreign policy and intelligence issues primarily about the U.S.S.R., but also including major powers in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

The collection is composed of columns published between 1976 and 1979, the first box contains access copies of the columns while the second box contains the original clippings donated by Baumgartner.

These papers include copies of military bounty land warrants and scrip issued in 1832 as well as a will and some correspondence. Materials created after Cabell’s death are primarily by his son Patrick Henry Cabell. Because these materials are copies, legibility can be limited.
