Before the age of computer animation, hand-drawn animation flourished in American feature films. Yet the early successes of CGI in mid-'90s had a profound negative impact on the livelihood of this once Hollywood cornerstone. Through extensive research and eyewitness accounts, learn the story of why pencils were replaced with pixels at all the major feature animation studios. And more importantly, why that isn't likely to change.
