On behalf of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), SWCA Environmental Consultants (SWCA) conducted an intensive archeological survey in April 2018 of 0.22 acres of existing TxDOT right of way (ROW) adjoining the western side of the Burlington Northern/Santa Fe railroad located within the City of Fort Worth in Tarrant County. This survey was conducted in support of the proposed State Highway (SH) 183 improvements. Investigations included pedestrian survey and intensive mechanical scraping to assess the presence of or potential for unmarked extramural graves associated with the historic Mitchell Cemetery. The City of Fort Worth is proposing to construct the Eagle Mountain to Big Fossil Diversion Pipeline in northern Tarrant County. Alan Plummer Associates, Inc. is handling the environmental permitting for the construction of the pipeline. AR Consultants, Inc. was contracted to conduct a cultural resource survey, which included archival research, to determine the presence of prehistoric and historic archaeological sites along the route and make recommendations about eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) and State Antiquities Landmark (SAL) designation. This report presents the results of archaeological monitoring performed by Raba Kistner Environmental, Inc., on behalf of Atmos Energy Corporation for the Atmos Hudgins Street Replacement Project. The project consists of the replacement of aging pipelines with installation of new 2-inch diameter natural gas pipeline within the city of Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas. The area of pipeline replacement extends along the north side of Hudgins Street within the city of Grapevine right of way for a length of approximate 1,410 feet. The project consists of the installation of a 2-, 4-, and 6-inch diameter Polyethylene pipe in Tarrant County, Texas. The City of Grapevine is proposing to repair an aerial sanitary sewer across Big Bear Creek in Tarrant County, Texas. The project area is located on the south side of a horseshoe bend in the floodplain of Big Bear Creek, north of Western Oaks Drive and west of Texas State Highway 121. AR Consultants, Inc. (ARC) conducted the intensive pedestrian archaeological survey in an area approximately 50-meters by 25-meters (0.3-acres) on June 8, 2018. Four shovel tests were excavated within the project area during the systematic field inspection. The archaeological potential for prehistoric and historic cultural resources was considered low. …
