Antecedents And Consequences Of Channel Alienation: An Empirical Investigation Within Franchised Channels Of Distribution, Ivan Lapuka

Investigating an important overlooked phase of interorganizational relationship evolution, which is currently hypothesized to progress through five stages of awareness, exploration, expansion, commitment, and dissolution, this dissertation proposes that in the long road between commitment and dissolution, the quintessential interfirm relationship is likely to be characterized by aprolonged period of relationship alienation, which then becomes the immediate precursor to the dissolution stage.

The dissertation utilizes social learning theory, behavior constraint theory, and alienation theory to explain apathetic behaviors of franchisees. The principal proposition is that certain characteristics of the franchise system’s operating environment inadvertently condition franchisee estrangement and failure, and …

The Running is a rock-reggae three-piece band originating from Nashville, Tennessee, consisting of a guitar player and vocalist, Mike Williams, a drummer, Andy Zimmerman, and a bass player, Christ Mironescu. The three artists have been playing together in and around Nashville for the past five years, as well as producing two albums and touring the Virgin Islands. Dr. Chavarria worked as a dental hygienist before applying and being accepted to dental school in San Antonio, Texas. This research explores the relationship between leadership principles widely believed to be effective and the behaviors demonstrated in art of theatrical direction by directors believed to be effective. The Appreciative Inquiry (AI) approach was used to survey actors, designers, and stage managers. Directors from the Twin Cities theater community that the respondents deemed to be most effective were then interviewed. Parallels were drawn between the qualities cited in the surveys and the leadership behaviors theorists believe to be most effective. Findings will be shared with the theater community.

Widlife management as food resources in the tropical areas is very rarely done. Traditional wisdom as an aspect that plays an important role in wildlife sustainability still put into practice by certain tribals. Study on traditional wisdom of Maybrat ethnic group was done to observe the practice of traditional wisdom create important impact to the effort of wildlife sustainability in Sorong Selatan Regency. The results indicate that traditional wisdom practice such as the use of hunting tools, places for hunting and wildlife hunted that indirectly give positive impact in order to support wildlife sustainability in Sorong Selatan.

In self-regulated processes such as planning, self monitoring, and control of disturbances, the model of interaction between personal environment and behavior is a reciprocal interaction. Pornographic exposure and sexual behavior of Junior High School (JHS) students were studied to determine pornographic epidemy in young shool children. The study was carried out using questioner survey for students at Grades 7-9 on four state JHS at the City of Mataram. The respondents were consisted of 36 classes or 1415 students. Results of the study show that 91 per cent of students have been exposed to pornographic materials. The exposure was different between males and females.
