An Interview With Prafulla Mohanti, Geoffrey Kain

Prafulla Mohanti was born and brought up in the village of Nanpur, Orissa, India. He lives most of the year in London, but returns to his village, where he owns a home, for a part of every year. Prafulla Mohanti came to England in 1960 after graduating as an architect in Bombay. He worked for a time as architect-town planner for the Greater London Council, but now devotes himself to painting and writing. He has held many exhibitions in England, the U.S., Japan, and Europe, and his paintings are held in a variety of museums and public and private collections. …
