The issue of December 14, 1974 had an article about curriculum reform, an exhibition at Woods-Gerry and an essay about four photographs. Also included was an article about the Sculpture and Ceramic departments. A recipe, comics, letters to the editor and events for RISD students were also mentioned.

The name is a French term meaning spirit. The goal of L’esprit is to provide, in as proper of a literary style as possible, an outlet for original poems, short stories, pictures and art work by students and faculty at Western Kentucky University

Nexus is a magazine that began as an insert in the Wright State Guardian student newspaper in 1965 and has since been published semi-regularly. It began only accepting creative writing, but has since expanded to include illustrations, photography and other non-written art forms. Today, it is published in a digital format and accepts submissions from around the country, though it maintains its commitment to the Wright State Community.

About eleven thousand years ago the earliest known human inhabitants of the Central Andean area began a lifestyle which developed into some of the richest cultures of the ancient American civilizations. The people living in this thirteen-hundred-mile arid mountain zone, which is now the nation of Peru, produced some of the most outstanding examples of ceramics in the world before the birth of Christ.
The purpose of this study was to examine representative examples from various early Peruvian cultures in an attempt to identify their characteristics and to determine the extent to which the pottery forms of certain early cultures …
