The Andrews University Symphony Orchestra (together with the University Singers and vocal soloists Sara Emerson, Julie Karpenko Reid, Charles Reid, and Stephen Zork), aim to celebrate the 250th birthday of Ludwig van Beethoven with a performance of his Symphony No.9 on May 1. The concert will open with a complementary world premiere composition by Andrews University graduate student Kaija Perry.

Andrews University Department of Music presents its Easter Choral concert, entitled "From Darkness to Light, In Thee is Gladness!". Ensembles include Andrews University Singers, Pioneer Men's Chorus, and Canta Bella. Conducted by Stephen Zork, featuring graduate conductor Kristii Rasmussen and undergraduate conductors Emily Jurek, Vivian Raimundo, and Beta Siriwattanakamol. Normally our annual Vespers Concert is part of the Andrews University Music Festival, but due to the pandemic we were unable to welcome our high school students to campus this year. But we will still continue our vespers tradition with a variety of wonderful sacred music, including some lively early American hymn tunes (Rhapsody on American Shaped Note Melodies by James Curnow and A Sacred Suite by Brant Karrick), sturdy hymns of old (God of Our Fathers by Thomas Knox and Be Thou My Vision by Travis Cross), and newer songs of praise (Joy Revisited by Frank Ticheli and Prologue …
