Music Programs
This recital was performed in the WSU Recital Hall on March 26, 2024, by Deanne Mohr (piano), featuring Eric Brisson as narrator for the final piece of the program. Mohr’s performance featured music from the Baroque, Classical, Neoclassical, and Romantic Eras. This performance portrayed how the music from various periods differ in form, style, and subject matter.

Famine Foods Co-op / Bluff Country Co-op Oral History Project
The Famine Foods Co-op / Bluff Country Co-op Oral History Project collects the oral narratives of people associated with the member owned, cooperatively run natural foods grocery store in Winona, Minnesota. The Project was launched in 2022 by Michael William Doyle, a founding member of the Co-op and a retired History professor, in commemoration of the Co-op’s 50th anniversary year. It is endorsed by the Co-op’s board of directors and sponsored by Winona State University and the Winona County Historical Society.

The Trettor Project: Queer History zine shares LGBTQIA+ history through the photography of selected items from the Jean Nickolaus-Tretter Archive of Queer History. The Tretter Archive is located at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The zine was provided with permission of the artist and publisher Laura Migliorino. An art exhibit of the photographs was exhibited in the Winona State University Darrell W. Krueger Library October 2023 through December 2023.

This project is a microhistory of the Chemawa Indian School in Oregon, the second federal Indian boarding school in the United States which is still running today. The school was designed with the intent of “civilizing” Native American children from reservations from all across the country, and assimilating them into “American” culture. There were several techniques that the school used, which had many severe consequences still present in the lives of alumni to this day.
