Letter, 28 June 1864, written by Oscar Wood from Decatur, Alabama, to Mary Hanley, Cairo, Illinois. Wood writes of being stationed at Paducah, Kentucky with the 32nd Wisconsin Infantry in March, when Confederate General Nathan B. Forrest attempted to engage them in battle.
