Two 1967 letters detail the genealogy of Reverend Ephraim McLean of Logan County, Kentucky. A third letter to Dr. Ben M. Barrus of Bethel College in Tennessee offers several corrections to his article, “Factors Involved in the Origin of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church,” published in the Journal of Presbyterian History (December 1967 and March 1968).
