This study is pointed towards investigating a more extensive definition and understanding of beauty as it was portrayed in AMAKABOGERA, a song by Maymay Entrata, from both its music video and lyrics. This study utilized a qualitative approach: content analysis supported by the concept of cinematography, the figures of speech, and representation by Stuart Hall on beauty standards. Findings showed that AMAKABOGERA endeavored to redefine the term beauty which cannot be resolved exclusively by specific standards, yet beauty is manifested by the way one sees himself/herself. These findings featured the significance of self-acceptance and self-confidence in the social context.

This study aims to highlight the lived experiences of young female professionals who currently lead in their fields, as well as the essence of a woman leader in such instances. The researchers used a hermeneutic phenomenological approach to illuminate the key informants' lived experiences as leaders with the anticipation to arrive at a novel perspective of leadership. The research findings align with the concept of purpose-driven leadership. The links between themes like compassion, empowerment, and adaptability are, however, intriguing because these leadership attributes are strongly associated with feminist conceptions of relationality, flexibility, and intuition. Today, gayspeak can be observed in the vocabulary of people that are not part of the LGBT community which shows progress in tolerance. Tigilan Mo Nga! is a zine inspired by Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in a Filipino household as well as the manifestation and effects of obsessive-compulsive disorder. The purpose of this zine is to further and fully understand the OCD experience. It is told from the perspective of a young Filipino with OCD. Data from two written interviews that were accomplished by an OCD patient and a BS Psychology Major were used as inspiration for illustrations in the zine. Overall, the zine includes themes of stigma, OCD in a Filipino household, and compulsions.

The artist-researcher used pastiche and technology incorporated with photography to depict the household experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer+ youth in the Philippines. Six participants attended a focus group discussion which was used in art conceptualization. They shared common experiences of having internalized homophobia and fear of rejection because of their families’ religious beliefs. This study summarizes the stigma and discrimination being experienced by young adults and acknowledges areas wherein research is needed to identify the factors that contribute to this matter. The following questions are addressed: (1) What kind of stigma and discrimination do these teenagers with depression and/or an anxiety disorder experience?
