The collection contains the awards, documents, and photographs of Craig Noel. The bulk of the awards were presented to Noel in honor of his decades of contribution to San Diego's Old Globe Theatre. Awards also include Old Globe Atlas awards. Documents include tributes to Noel and to the Old Globe along with script books. Photographs include those taken during travel, actor photographs, photographs of Noel, and albums of the Shanghai Drama Institute, Shanghai People’s Art Theatre, and Shanghai Youth Drama Troupe.

The Davidson Family papers include photographs taken and correspondence written during Ethel Helena Davidson's time as an American Expeditionary Force nurse in France during World War I and Frederick Arthur Davidson's time in the United States Army between the 1920s and 1950s. Also includes a scrapbook of Ethel's war experience and army records for each of them.

Leo D. Hermle was an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of San Diego College of Law as well as a decorated veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He served in both World War I and World War II. His records include biographical information, memorabilia, professional records pertaining to his community involvement and his work in the College of Law, as well as historical records about the Fifth Marine Division and their participation in Iwo Jima in 1945. Hermle was Brigadier General of the Fifth Marine Division during the Iwo Jima invasion.

The Commission on the Bicentennial of the Constitution (the Commission), consisting of 23 members appointed by President Ronald Reagan, was charged with promoting and coordinating activities to commemorate the 200 year anniversary of the Constitution. This collection documents the work of the Commission, as well as activities planned by state and local organizations for the Bicentennial. These records consist of the meeting materials, planning documents, and publications generated by the Commission, as well as materials highlighting events that took place throughout the United States.
