The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the effectiveness of peer tutoring method on self-regulated learning. In self-regulated processes such as planning, self monitoring, and control of disturbances, the model of interaction between personal environment and behavior is a reciprocal interaction. Peer tutoring is expected to raise the potential behavior through an independent learning materials organization. Those behaviours include assistance-seeking behavior and assistance-giving during a more intensive learning process resulted from nearer psychological distance between the tutor and tutee. Widlife management as food resources in the tropical areas is very rarely done. Traditional wisdom as an aspect that plays an important role in wildlife sustainability still put into practice by certain tribals. Study on traditional wisdom of Maybrat ethnic group was done to observe the practice of traditional wisdom create important impact to the effort of wildlife sustainability in Sorong Selatan Regency. The results indicate that traditional wisdom practice such as the use of hunting tools, places for hunting and wildlife hunted that indirectly give positive impact in order to support wildlife sustainability in Sorong Selatan.

Pornographic exposure and sexual behavior of Junior High School (JHS) students were studied to determine pornographic epidemy in young shool children. The study was carried out using questioner survey for students at Grades 7-9 on four state JHS at the City of Mataram. The respondents were consisted of 36 classes or 1415 students. Results of the study show that 91 per cent of students have been exposed to pornographic materials. The exposure was different between males and females. Reliable Words; Third Person Pronouns In Indonesian News Reports, Dwi Noverini Djenar

This article examines uses of Indonesian third person singular pronouns ia and dia in news reports. It takes as its departure point the general account of the pronouns which specifies that ia can occur only in subject position, while dia can occur in subject or object position. The article shows that, although both pronouns can occur in subject position, they differ distributionally and functionally. Ia occurs almost three times as frequently as dia and predominates in subject position, while dia occurs mostly in non-subject position. This paper looks at the nature of data for lexicography and in particular on the central role that electronic corpora can play in providing it. Data has traditionally come from existing dictionaries, citations, and from the lexicographer's own knowledge of words, through introspection. Each of these is examined and evaluated. Then the electronic corpus is considered. Different kinds of corpora are described and key design criteria are explained, in particular the size of corpus needed for lexicography as well as the issue of representativeness and sampling. Aspect And Modality In Indonesian; The Case Of "Sudah", "Telah", "Pernah", And "Sempat", Philippe Grangé

In this paper, I describe four Indonesian aspect markers, sudah, telah, pernah, and sempat, showing that the main opposition between them relies not only on their aspectual meanings, but also on the various modalities they express. The opposition between the very frequent markers sudah and telah is analysed in detail. The syntactic and semantic survey shows that these two markers are not synonyms in most contexts.
