On behalf of Oden Hughes, Pape-Dawson conducted an intensive archaeological survey of the proposed NWC Bulverde/1604 Sewer Extension Project in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas. The project proposed to begin on the southwest side of Classen Road approximately 0.2 kilometers (km) (0.13 mile [mi]) east of its northern intersection with Bulverde Road. The proposed line would parallel Elm Waterhole Creek to the west and south approximately 0.8 km (0.5 mi). Raba Kistner Environmental, Inc. (RKEI) was contracted by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission (CLIENT), to conduct archaeological monitoring for proposed improvements to the Cleveland-Partlow House, Liberty, Liberty County, Texas. The home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a Recorded Texas Landmark, and documented as archaeological Site 41LB84. The project proposed to alleviate drainage issues around the house through the excavation of a wide, shallow trench in which geofabric and river gravels were placed along the perimeter of the house to divert water and install new support piers below the house. Dated to ca. 6,000 – 5,750 cal BP considerable amounts of material culture associated with what is identified as the Calf Creek Horizon by Don G. Wyckoff, has been recovered from the Gault site (Wyckoff pp. 1-8, 1994). The natural response to this evidence was to expand upon previous understandings of this time period (Wyckoff and Shockey 1994) (Weber 1994) (Wyckoff and Shockey 1995) (Drass 1999). Directed by Michael B. This report presents the results of an archeological survey for a 12-acre tract near Mill Creek, south of Farm-to-Market (FM) road 1488 in Montgomery County, Texas. The Montgomery County Municipal Utility District (MUD) 131 is proposing to build public utilities and make modifications to a tributary of Mill Creek on the 12-acre property, which requires consultation with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. The project was sponsored by the Harris County Municipal Utility District (MUD) 502, and required consultation with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act. This necessitated compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (Section 106) and the Antiquities Code of Texas (ACT). An intensive archeological survey was completed in order to inventory and evaluate archeological resources and to identify potential unmarked internments within a portion of existing Farm-toMarket Road (FM) 359 right-of-way adjacent to the Wilderness Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Fort Bend County, Texas. The land within the project footprint is anticipated to be converted into roadbed when FM 359 is expanded under control-section-job number 0543-02-075. The final design of this road widening project has not yet been determined; however, some proposed alternatives include the current project footprint, which is located adjacent to the known boundaries of the Wilderness Branch Baptist …
