My research involves a deep exploration of the visual and material language found in jewelry throughout history as it relates to deep social, cultural, and personal ideologies. I rivet my Vietnamese and American culture through jewelry alchemy while exploring my identity, sculpting and preserving the four sacred animals of Vietnam. I create boar head chains, the last animal in the Lunar Zodiac, and emerge unapologetically with crowns that proudly pronounce myself. I arrive at my altar with heirloom pendants and brooches, and lastly honor my family history with wearables that feature salt clusters and family gold. This body of work …

Digital painting enables the traditional painter to paint using new technology without experience in traditional painting. But few digital painters are able to transcend the technology to create aesthetically pleasing compositions that address traditional design elements and content. This thesis examines digital painting's place i an evolving digital culture by focusing on six digital painters, the digital audience and how new media theory applies.

She has painted many truly colorful and artistic scenes of people, events, occasions and landmarks so vividly that whenever they have been placed on display they have brought back memories for many old enough to remember and for many who were youngsters.

The photos are taken throughout the event, capturing the guests in attendance and various programs during the ball. There are also correspondences that were addressed to the International Institute in regards to guests not being able to make the ball. Posters and newspaper clippings are also held in the book that allows the audience to know the location and details of the ball.

In the scrapbook, there are various newspaper clippings that address Portuguese Handicrafts and an appreciation of other cultures. This cultural appreciation would be shown at the Rhode Island School of Design to provide audiences would an understanding of Portuguese designs. Alongside these artworks, there is a strong emphasis on Italo-American handicrafts also being displayed in the museum. These newspaper clippings also focus on other activities, organizations, and programs involving the foreign community of Rhode Island.
