Lyric songs show how rich the aesthetic taste of the Turkic peoples is, that they have always had a special love for the art of speech and that they have a literary reserve to compete with the fastest peoples of their time in terms of artistic texture. The poet and writer Sohrab Sipehri (1928-1980) played a particular role in the formation and development of Iranian poetry at the beginning of the twentieth century. This poet created his style of expression and was an enlightened person who provided a holistic connection of modern philosophical views with orthodox ideas. Developing advantages of “new poetry” tendency in the context of Sohrob Sepehri’s inheritance scientifially have been analyzed. Theoretical sources concerning to poet’s creation have been comparatively investigated and brought into scientifi circulation. The system of artistic images of human and mystic ideas expressed in works of Sohrob Sepehri was studied and the meaning of human and mystic ideas were compared with the points of representatives of Sufim of the same direction. The poet’s points concerning problems of relation of human and nature were analyzed. The meaning of symbols and images peculiar to artistic thinking of poet was specifid.

In the poem «Address», which was included in the collection «Green Volume» by S.Sepehri, in his own way he interprets the seven stages of asceticism - the «seven valleys», which are given in the dastan of Sheikh Fariduddin Attar «Mantik ut-tyr» («Journey of Logic»). The article provides a comparative analysis of the spiritual stages of the poet’s poetry - talab (need), ishq (love), marifat (enlightenment), isthiqno (denial), tavhid (unity), zairat (shock), fair (poverty) faqr fano (eternity).
