This article discusses the methods of Abu Hafs Nasafi, used by him to refute the ideas of representatives of fanatical movements based on theological issues raised in the work “Akaid” and the comments to it. Also, the article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the origins of the ideological views of modern religious movements with the ideology of Kharijites, Mutazilites, Kadarits, Jahmites, Dzhabarits, etc.
