Well established is a connection between gender stereotypes and children’s STEM perceptions. STEM self-concept, for example, is consistently identified as stronger for boys than girls (Cvencek et. et al 2011). While research has documented differences in STEM self-competencies between adolescent boys and girls (Miller et. al 2018), there remains much to be learned about the classroom conditions that may explain how children understand stereotypes and act on that understanding in their interactions with other children. Gendering Art History In The Victorian Age: Anna Jameson, Elizabeth Eastlake, And George Eliot In Florence, Antje Anderson

This thesis investigates how three professional Victorian women writers, Anna Jameson, Elizabeth Eastlake, and George Eliot, wrote about Renaissance art in Florence. As nineteenth-century women, they were excluded from certain realms of knowledge, agency, and influence. This exclusion (complicated by their privilege in terms of class, nationality, and education) influenced the way they experienced and wrote about art. The study tries to understand the significant roles of information literacy in sexuality education among adolescents of secondary schools in Nsukka local government of Enugu State. The rationale was to find a lasting solution to premarital sexual activities/challenges among secondary school students in the study area. The study through scholarly reviews showed that allowing parents, guardians, teachers, and significant individuals in the lives of an adolescent will pave the way for the child to understand the good and bad effects of premarital sex and therefore, prompt positive decisions that would help children’s wards, themselves and the society at large.
