This paper attempts to analyse the growth and development of Library trends, as reflected in publication output covered by Web of Science online database during 1989-2019. Among these 99 countries, China has created 515 (14.1%) Articles and it occupies the first place of Asian continent. Japan, India, South Korea and Taiwan have more than 50 articles produced in this field. UK has produced 427 (11.07 %) Articles and it occupies the first place of European Continent. The significance of Indigenous knowledge and its role are being recognized worldwide today. However there is the grave danger of its extinction due to internal and external factors. That the preservation of indigenous knowledge is a pertinent and urgent matter is being acknowledged by the stakeholders – indigenous communities, researchers and libraries alike. Library anxiety, defined as the fear of using libraries, is a psychological barrier that impedes academic achievement and the development of information literacy. Using key episodes and protagonists from Community and Parks and Recreation, this paper will demonstrate how library anxiety is represented in these series. From the infamously manipulative public librarian Tammy Swanson in Parks and Recreation to the library as pillow fight battlefield in Community, these indications of anxiety towards libraries will be evaluated with the intent of illuminating current discourse in popular television regarding library use.
