The Cuban Research Institute (CRI) of Florida International University continues its tradition of convening scholars and other persons interested in the study of Cuba and Cuban Americans by announcing its 12th Conference. Latin America is facing a great challenge coming from the aging of population in the context of a crisis of care. This phenomenon raises the issue of developing new and more research on comparative social policies.
