The Lord's Supper's Eschatology In The Blood Of The Covenant, Joel Lehenbauer
The Lord's Supper's Eschatology In The Blood Of The Covenant, Joel Lehenbauer
Master of Sacred Theology Thesis
The thesis we will try to defend is that the theology of the Lord’s Supper is the matrix of the theology of the Lord's Supper's23eschatology. What gives the Lord's Supper its unique character will also give the Lord's Supper's eschatology its unique character. One’s view of what holds the Lord's Supper together will determine one's view of what holds the Lord's Supper together with its eschatology. What is seen as the proprium of the Lord's Supper will also be the center of the Lord's Supper's eschatology.

The Eschatology Of The Lutheran Symbols, Walter Pieper
Master of Sacred Theology Thesis
For some years there has been a renewed interest in eschatology. A specific treatment of eschatology from the Lutheran point of view, however, is still lacking. The goal of this paper, therefore, is to draw the eschatological references from the Symbols to discover how the writers looked at that which lay beyond this life and how this expectancy related to their presentation of the faith.

Master of Sacred Theology Thesis
Our purpose in this thesis, then, is simply to study the incomplete as incomplete (as that is recorded in the Old Testament) before its completion or fulfillment in the New Testament revelation. We believe that such a study is particularly relevant here 'because of the frequency with which this historical approach has been neglected.
