Letters and certificates of Samuel Baker, a Baptist minister who came to America from England in 1834, eventually holding pastorates in Kentucky, Tennessee, New York, Indiana, and Illinois . He was instrumental in establishing Bethel College in Russellville, Kentucky, and Bethel Female College in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. The materials from the 18th century and early 19th century are facsimiles.
