"[A]n examination of racial diversity in higher education requires serious consideration of space... [A] spatial perspective offers a lens for locating and examining processes of racialization. And a spatial approach also provides a language participants and researchers can use to talk about the discreet ways race still operates in everyday interactions, including subtle forms of racism that are overlooked or ignored because race is often understood by students to matter less today. Essentially, a spatial approach sheds light on race relations and racial structures in tangible campus environments."

秉承嶺南大學的教學宗旨「作育英才，服務社會」，自2004 年開始， 「服務研習」滲入不同的本科學科裡，是一種結合學科理論及社區服務的新型教學方式，為學生提供全人發展的環境。從學生在服務中的體驗，不但能把課堂知識在現實中運用，並從中鍛鍊學生獨立思考及反思的能力，也培養他們關懷弱勢社群及關心社會。於2015/16 的第二個學期，嶺南大學中文系的「CHI3202 兒童文學」課程提供服務研習的機會，在課程老師陳惠英教授的出色領導、以及南屯門綜合家庭服務中心和救世軍東涌家庭支援中心的緊密配合下，學生透過該學科的服務研習，與中心小朋友及家長進行互動，以小朋友的真實經歷為藍本，撰寫獨一無二的兒童故事，再收錄為分享集。

Recent publications have contributed to increase the perception among Hispanics of an unfair and unequal treatment of this community by the US Criminal Justice System. One of the major concerns was the claim that Hispanics are incarcerated before conviction nearly twice as often as Whites. Unfair treatment perception by the population reduces legitimacy of police and government, and thus, it is imperative to analyze these uninvestigated allegations. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to address said allegations of discrimination against Hispanics and analyze with updated and reliable statistics whether Hispanics are incarcerated before conviction more often than Whites. When he and his crew were discovered, the Taliban attacked them and he and his wife fled to Turkey, walking 12 hours to get there. Upon arrival the police arrested and harassed them. Fawad and his wife, Zakeela, have three children. Zakeela was a beautician, and Fawad was a singer in the Baghlan district in Afghanistan. The music he produced was not in accordance with the strict restrictions of the Taliban. They threatened his life and assaulted him many times, so he decided to leave with his family to Kabul. Film tourism encompasses the interest, investment and influence that exported media products can contribute to cultural globalization, and subsequent visitation of a nation. The Korean Wave or Hallyu wave has been studied and commended for its rapid spread and growing popularity within Asia and more recently, on a more global scale. By comparing and contrasting the methods used by the Korean government to enhance Hallyu, with several trade deals made by the US government to support Hollywood, we can see how the effects of film tourism were directed towards modifying perspectives on Korean culture.
