Digital technologies are used mostly for artifact preservation, but they can also be used for educating people about those artifacts in a museum context. This paper investigates the way various age groups react differently to distinct kinds of digitization technology. By using different technologies with certain age groups, adolescents can learn more from the artifacts or objects they are interacting with. The key to success in online education is the creation and sustenance of a safe and vibrant virtual community. In order to create such a community instructors must pay special attention to the relationship between technology and pedagogy, specifically in terms of issues such as course design, social presence, facilitation of sustained engagement with course material, specially tailored assignments, and learner expectations and objectives. Several strategies for accomplishing this goal are presented here based on the author’s experiences teaching second career students in hybrid introductory theology courses at a mainline denominational seminary.

The Leadership Education Audio-visual Kit was completed by the Division of Christian Education of the National Churches of Christ in the United states of America in the Fall of 1950. Downey Avenue Christian Church was searching for a method to train teachers not only for the church school but also for the home. This Kit seemed to be the device needed.

The problem: How may the Kit be used to challenge each person to teach wherever he has opportunity? To teach is easy but to teach in a manner that the person will grow toward Christ is difficult.

In a country where only 2.53 per cent of the female population is literate, the importance of education for girls cannot be overestimated. India, being freed from British Rule in 1947, is now an independent self-governing nation. In its draft constitution it has accepted the democratic way of life.
