In this thesis, I explore the biblical concept of a “watchman” as referenced in the novel’s title and what conclusions can be drawn from delving into the literary and biblical contexts of this allusion. تعتبر الضريبة الانتقائية من الضرائب الجديدة التي فرضت في دول الخليج العربي، وتسهم هذه الضريبة في زيادة وتنويع مصادر الدخل المالي، وتعديل الأنماط السلوكية الاستهلاكية، وتقنين استهلاك السلع الضارة بصحة الإنسان، وعلى ذلك فإن هذا البحث يهدف إلى بيان مفهوم الضريبة الانتقائية وأهميتها، وحكمها الشرعي.

Western religious liberty advocates tend to focus on restrictions placed on minority religious communities, particularly when advocating abroad, that is, outside of the country in which they reside. In all contemporary democracies, however, adherents of religious majorities also express concerns about religious liberty. For this reason, the article considers both minority and majority concerns about institutional religious freedom in India. By following the examples of Mission Waco and The Dudley Street Initiative, it is possible to renew a sense of beloved community by changing the narrative of poverty and gentrification by rebuilding the village through empowering the poor and marginalized.

Mission Waco and The Dudley Street Initiative are comprehensive sustainable communities because they combine numerous social and economic interventions under developed strategic plans. This chapter presents the use of Lost & Found – a purpose-built tabletop to mobile game series – to teach medieval religious legal systems. The series aims to broaden the discourse around religious legal systems and to counter popular depiction of these systems which often promote prejudice and misnomers. A central element is the importance of contextualizing religion in period and locale.
