Plea before the honorable judges John Taylor and William B Shields of the state of Mississippi for the Superior Court at Claibourne County regarding the case of an enslaved man named Frank. The plea asserts that Thomas Mosely of Claibourne County had owned Frank, but had lost him in Port Gibson, MS, and that Hector McNeill had found Frank, but had not returned him to Moseley despite being aware that Moseley was his owner, and had emjoyed the benefit of Frank's labor.
