We are going to describe the youth programs of the Lutheran churches in America in this thesis. These churches are seeking to achieve a purpose for their young people. That purpose is to salvage and to protect· their young people against the inroads of the destructive forces ot our age and to enlarge their usefulness in the service of Christ, the Church and their fellowmen.
