1st Annual ARTS Reunion at ODU: September 25-29, 1978
The Poetry Jam held from April 11-12, 1978 was a precursor to the annual literary festival, which began the same year.
Participants:
- Richard Wilbur has published ten volumes of poetry, including Things of This World, The Poems of Richard Wilbur, and recently released The Mind Reader. He has authored two translations, an operetta, several plays, children's books, and numerous critical articles. Currently a Professor of English at Smith College and editor of the Wesleyan University Poetry Series, Wilbur has received numerous prizes and awards, among them the Pulitzer Prize, National Book Award, and the Prix de Rome. …
