Ewing Gallery of Art & Architecture
Compound Lens is an amalgam of photographic work of nineteen former students of Baldwin Lee. Lee retired from teaching photography at the School of Art in 2014.
Exhibiting artists were: Jonathan Bagby, Phillip Carpenter, Tuni Chatterji, Cip Contreras, Matt Ducklo, Rebecca Finley, Banner Gwin, Neely Crihfield Hyde, Erin Leland, Sarah Martin, Wardell Milan, Christopher Miner, Shelly O'Barr, Hei Park, Jack Parker, Marlo Pascual, Denny Renshaw, Bradly Dever Treadaway, and Constance Thalken.

The inaugural showing of this exhibition was held jointly at the Downtown Gallery, The University of Tennessee, and at the American Museum of Science and Energy, Oak Ridge, as a component of the 2005 Tennessee Valley Homecoming.
