The John R. Schorb Papers include 49 prints and over 200 glass plate negatives, daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, and tin types taken by John Schorb and his son George. The images vary in size and subject. Most are portraits, but there are also images of various family members, scenes around York, South Carolina, and self portraits. The images range in date from the late 1850s to the early 1900s.
