The aim of this thesis is to explore argumentation studies as an alternative approach to art interpretation, and, in parallel, address the possibility of conceptual art as an area of interest to argumentation studies. While the expanded field of argumentation admits a growing range of argument modes, it has not yet tackled the argumentative potential of conceptual art. There is no shortage of research implicating trust as a central concern for addressing vaccine hesitancy, even prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Likewise, healthcare professionals have long called for increased resources and training to address the issue. However, despite this long-standing problem, and its recent foray into the social consciousness, there is still a significant lack of resources for resolving this issue. This thesis aims to address this deficit. In the present article, we shall consider, first of all, various definitions of a Living Wage; then the elements of a decent livelihood: then the grounds of the claim, wherein will be discussed the moral, religious and social basis of the claim, as well as the corresponding duties of the laborer and employer. This will be followed by a consideration of the claim in concrete, which will show computations based upon the special investigation of manufacturing establishments made by the American and Canadian Census taken in various years. Our conclusion will be some suggested remedies.
