Yuxiao Sun presented a solo piano recital on November 2, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. in Davis Hall of the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center at the University of Northern Iowa. This recital marked a partial completion of her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance. The program included the following works: Piano Sonata No. 23 in F minor, Op. 57 “Appassionata” by Ludwig van Beethoven, Partita No.1 in B flat Major, BWV 825 by Johann Sebastian Bach, and Pour le Piano, L. 95 by Claude Debussy.

Ethan Martin presented a full graduate percussion recital on Friday, April 28, 2023. The recital was performed at 8:00 p.m. in Davis Hall in the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center at the University of Northern Iowa. Mr. Martin was accompanied by Hanna Stolper, piano. This recital was given in partial fulfillment of the Master of Music degree in Percussion Performance. Stephen Seaberg conducted three performances that constituted a recital in partial fulfillment of a Master in Music in Wind Band Conducting. The performances took place on the evenings of Tuesday, November 15th, 2022; Thursday, February 23rd, 2023; and Tuesday, April 11th, 2023 in the Great Hall at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. The recital program included four works that relate to historical music in different ways, and three of which are part of the standard repertoire. Daniel Sanchez, a student from the studio of Dr. Stephanie Ycaza, presented a solo recital on March 6, 2023 at the Gallagher-Bluedorn Performing Arts Center. Sanchez was accompanied by Ms. Natia Shioshvili and a chamber orchestra composed of members of the Northern Iowa Symphony Orchestra and Northern Iowa Youth Symphony conducted by Dr. Stephanie Ycaza.
