This is a second in a series of interviews with Dr. Robert D. Reece, Associate Professor and Chairman of the Department of Medicine in Society in the Wright State University School of Medicine. Robert Suriano, first Associate Dean for Admissions and Student Affairs of the Wright State University School of Medicine, Dr. Suriano discusses his background prior to coming to Wright State University, his first priorities and initial activities as Associate Dean, and the development of his staff.

In the second part of his interview, Dr. Suriano discusses the Admissions Committee of the School of Medicine. He discusses in detail the mission of the committee, the recruiting and training of its members, and how the committee operates.

In this first interview with Mrs. Regina Borum, second Administrative Assistant to Dean Beljan of the Wright State School of Medicine, Mrs. Borum describes her background, hiring by Dean Beljan, and her initial impressions of the Wright State School of Medicine. She goes on to describe her responsibilities and duties. Mrs. Borum provides some fascinating insights into specific areas of the School of Medicine's development such as faculty and staff development, the visitations of the Liason [sic] Committee on Medical Education, and the leadership style of Dean John Beljan.
