GLBT Center Staff Meeting Notes – 1 June 2009; In Attendance: Joe, Mike, Jess, Jamie, Andrew, and Eva Welcome Project Brochure Revisions We discussed what the Welcome Project was, which sought to affirm dignity and address discrimination/oppression in the community. This project sought to do something similar to The Safe Zone, yet previous GLBT Center members felt that the Safe Zone implied that there were sanctioned unsafe zones. Thus, the Welcome Project was a title that implied safety and acceptance everywhere. The Welcome Project, as a part of the GLBT Center, also sponsored …

GLBT Center meeting notes, updates, and tasks. GLBT Center Meeting Minutes – 28 May 2009; Staff Hours: Send Andrew an e-mail with hours for each time period (every two weeks). Staff members will work approximately 15 hours per week.; Marcus’s Room: There’s been a cleaning delay due to staff shortages. Marcus and Andrew agreed to do a walk through to assess whether cleaning staff was necessary, so that Marcus can move in ASAP. This post contains the GLBTIQQ Symposium Meeting Minutes for 1/20/2008. EXHIBIT;Opens on February 14th. Set up is required between Feb. 12 and 14th.  PROGRAM: Curator, Ted Phillips, Bob Wisebord (sp?) and one of the American Holocaust Liberators are scheduled and confirmed for the panel discussion in the Kirk Auditorium. This program will be followed by an exhibit preview and a reception.  MOVIES TO ACCOMPANY THE EXHIBIT are scheduled on February 19th, February 26th and March 4th in the Multicultural Center’s Hardge Forum Room.  On March 2nd another exhibit inspired program will take place featuring the Gay Men’s …
