An undergraduate thesis presented to the faculty of the University of Maine for the attainment of the degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering by Charles Lester Bailey and Francis Trenholm Crowe in June, 1905. They conducted a topographical survey of a portion of the lower Penobscot River System, covering the towns of Webster, Orono, and Stillwater and the valley of the Stillwater River between them.
