From 1946 to 1958, the United States conducted top secret nuclear weapons testing in the Marshall Islands that affects its people and its ecology to this day. The United States has done an injustice to the people of the Marshall Islands by forcing them off their native lands in order to procure testing sites, by knowingly exposing the people to radiation from these tests, by withholding information from the people who are most affected by the testing, and by not restoring the people to their health and to their lands.
