Through looking at the graphic novel Y the Last Man by Brian K. Vaughn this research project will be exploring ideas of male and female gender performance. This text provides a tight focus on a single male in a suddenly female-dominated world that flips the stereotypical gender script and allows a new perspective to be taken when looking at gender performance.
