Today, it is published in a digital format and accepts submissions from around the country, though it maintains its commitment to the Wright State Community.

RISD Events was a bi-weekly publication focusing primarily on putting out a calendar of events happening in and around the school. The issue of March 12-March 26, 1980 included an article called The 18/20 Proposal. The RISD Student Council put forth a resolution calling for 18 year olds to be able to drink in bars but 20 year olds could purchase liquor in a liquor store. Also included was an activities calendar for events on the RISD campus and the Providence area.

The 1980 issue of Reflections is edited by Randy Waters with Joyce Compton Brown and Michele Barale serving as faculty advisers. Cover photography is by Les Brown. Historical photographs of Gardner-Webb are included throughout the issue in celebration of the school's 75th anniversary. Award winners of the student writing contest include: Criss Nichols, Teresa Yingling, and Randy Waters. Mike Gurley is the award winner of the student black and white photography contest.
