In Walking with the Wampus, Abigail (Abby) Griffith offers a collection of short stories that toe the slippery stream that runs between the shores of the fantastic and the mundane. Challenging preconceptions of what might be traditionally defined as “literary fiction,” Griffith’s stories are three parts surrealism to two parts metafiction.
