the Icon Unpainted came from my prayers and personal experience of Advent, first, walking with Mary as she waited on the edge of giving birth, knowing what was to come and realizing the promises that were on the verge of becoming flesh, then opening that vision to an entire world, history of prophecy and scripture that was about to be captured in a single moment.
