Kim met with students at UNE's Biddeford Campus Ketchum Library to teach them about the history, chemistry, and application of henna tattoos. For two weeks, Kim's time at UNE was entirely concentrated on the henna tattoo project, as the UNE community lined up to learn about and work on their own tattoos.

The Art of Mildred G. Burrage is the catalogue from the Portland Campus UNE Art Gallery’s March 26, 2016—June 26, 2016 exhibition of curated artwork by Mildred G. Burrage.

Earle G. Shettleworth, Jr. and Sally W. Rand curated the exhibition, which traces the 65-year career of Mildred Giddings Burrage (1890-1983), one of Maine’s most creative 20th century artists. Her many genres included American Impressionism, patriotic posters, portraits, historic maps, southwest and Central American flora and World War II shipbuilding. IPEC Mini-grant application for funding of UNE student project Compassionate Touch.UNE Dental Medicine students collaborated with Creative and Fine Arts faculty and Dental Medicine faculty to create the film Compassionate Touch, focusing on five stages associated with anxious dental patients, as depicted through artwork, interprofessional interviews and scholarly sources. The film highlights the current understanding and management of the dental needs for high fear patients before, during, and after their visit to the dentist, and how interprofessional health care providers can assist patients to achieve quality patient-centered care.
