Non-profit organisation (NPO) collaboration in industrial design education enables tutors to bring real-life problems to the design education context. Only in recent years, good practices of NPO collaboration implemented in the studio and elective courses are seen in industrial design education. Within the scope of this paper, 20 tutors from 10 industrial design departments in Turkey who have carried out educational projects in collaboration with over 30 diverse non-profit partners in their undergraduate courses were interviewed.
