The Buffalo Soldiers, Kenneth Estes Hall

ETSU Faculty Works

Excerpt: Despite the great success of the Civil War epic Glory, the story of the black troops during and after the War is not well known. ETSU Faculty Works

Excerpt: The story of massacres and battles from 1868 to 1890 between the U.S. Cavalry and several native tribes is filled with outsider characters.
