Historical buildings are considered a source of architectural inspiration and a key determinant to maintain continuity with the past and preserve cities identity. Unfortunately. most of the historical buildings in Gaza city had been diminished from the fabric making the city as if it has no historical roots, not only because of the scarcity of its historical architecture but also because of its contemporary architecture which seems empty from cultural contents and meanings.
