. It is widely believed that historic urban fabrics make an important contribution to foster identity and a sense of belonging for local people. To restore historic buildings, particular vernacular structures, is therefore an important contribution to achieve urban structures that deal with and respect local people with their particular way of living. One such historic element is earth construction, and in this case earth constructions of the central and eastern Europe region.
