Green spaces such as public parks and intimate gardens have been associated for more than a century with pleasures, providing a green oasis in the city. Making green spaces accessible to as many people as possible is now mainstream thinking in design and management. Efforts are now often channeled more into providing green spaces, which are accessible to everyone who wishes to use them.
