This thesis proposes a more dynamic relationship between the process of refining and testing a start-up business model and the spaces in which this process takes place. A short-term live/work facility that provides a support structure during the initial development of these companies will reduce risk for both investors and entrepreneurs. This is when young start-ups are in need of both physical resources, in the form of workspaces and temporary lodging, as well as intellectual resources in the way of business advice and mentorship.
