The South El Camino Real Urban Design Concept Plan was developed by a first-year MCRP studio for the City of San Clemente, CA. The San Clemente community, the City planners and the City Council welcomed the students’ ideas for making the corridor appealing, economically attractive, and safer for pedestrians and bicyclists.

The Broadway Corridor Study Public Outreach Report summarizes the public outreach efforts conducted as part of the process to develop alternative concepts for future development and circulation along the Broadway Corridor in Redwood City, California. These efforts were conducted as a class project by fourth year students in the City and Regional Planning Department at California Polytechnic State University from September of 2013 to March of 2014.

An undergraduate class from the City and Regional Planning Department at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo was charged by the City of Milpitas Planning and Neighborhood Services Department to develop pre-planning insights, vision and urban design concepts for two strategically ocated sites in Milpitas, California Circle, and, the area around Main Street at the Serra Way intersection. This report represents a compilation of the work completed by the students in CRP 341 Urban Design Studio III during the 10-week period of Fall Quarter September-December, 2013. This Background Report is an integral part of the San Juan Bautista 2035 General Plan. Its purpose is to provide the public, the City’s decision-makers, and other agencies with detailed information about San Juan Bautista using current conditions and community input. In this way, the Background Report provides the informational basis on which the goals, policies, and programs of the San Juan Bautista General Plan are in part based. While the General Plan itself represents the official adopted goals and policies of the City, this Background Report provides only information, including the plans and programs of other agencies.
