Purpose: to restore the continuity and functions of the mandible after segmental mandibulectomy for mandibular defect reconstruction by using a technique of transport distraction osteogenesis with stem cells injection. Subjects and methods: Clinical study was conducted on eight patients suffering from mandibular deficiency after tumor resection. All steps of manufacturing of the transport distractor, tumor resection and segmental mandibulectomy of transport disc were guided by Stereolithographic (STL) model. Stem cells sample was prepared to be injected along the soft callus at the end of the activation period. Purpose: Current study proposed to estimate the anticarcinogenic influence of Selenium Nanoparticles (SeNps) on induced squamous cell carcinoma utilizing caspase3 as an apoptotic marker. Material and Methods: Thirty hamsters were used, divided into four groups. Group I: 2 hamsters were left untreated, Group II: 8 hamsters received SeNPs orally for 14 weeks at dosage of 0.5 mg/kg on alternative day along the experimental period. Purpose: This study evaluated that curcumin and biodegradable nanoparticles with PVA as capping material, in terms of cytotoxicity followed by cell cycle analysis against the HNO97 cell line (tongue carcinoma). Material and methods: 5mg of pure curcumin, 7.5 mg of Nano curcumin formulation, and SRB for IC50 done on five concentrations. A flow cytometry test was carried on to evaluate the effect of curcumin on the HNO97 cell line. Results: This study postulated that curcumin had the highest cytotoxicity effect against cell line (HNO97) with IC50=1.59 µg/ml in comparison to curcumin nanoparticles/PVA showed low cytotoxicity owing to the pH (7.4) …

Subjects and methods: Ten patients requiring bone augmentation horizontally or both horizontally and vertically at the time of implant placement were included in this retrospective study. Purpose: This study was made to evaluate and compare the efficacy of photodynamic periodontal therapy and diode laser as an adjunctive approach to conventional periodontal therapy in management of chronic periodontitis. Subjects and methods: 30 patients with chronic periodontitis and age range from 30-40 years old were divided randomly into three groups. Group I (control group) 10 patients received conventional periodontal therapy alone. Group II (laser group): patients received SRP + additional application of a 940-nm diode laser. Purpose: The aim of current study was evaluating effect of concentrated growth factor and hyaluronic acid on osseointegration of delayed implant. Subject and Methods: A total of 12 patients, ranging in age from 20 to 45 years old, were divided into two groups in random manner. Purpose: The goal of this study was to see how varying concentrations of nanocurcumin (NC) affected the culture of periodontal ligament fibroblastic cells (PDLFCs). Materials and Methods: Nanocurcumin was prepared at concentrations (10 µmol/mL, 3 µmol/mL, 1.5 µmol/mL, 0.7 µmol/mL and , 0.3 µmol/mL ). Periodontal ligament fibroblastic cells were extracted, characterized using Flowcytometry and cultured in Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM).
