Nutrients are necessary for the survival of living organisms. The most important nutrient in aquatic ecosystem is typically Nitrogen (N) and Phosphorus (P). It was considered to be an important water quality concern in Konto River Basin due to a high water pollutant indication problem of reservoir Selorejo. Nitrogen and phosphorous are the two nutrients originating from inorganic and organic fertilizer that affect the reservoir water quality due to intensive agricultural farming. Increased N and P fertilizer application on the agriculture activity has larges N and P nutrient burdens to the reservoir through runoff and leaching. The aim of this …

Individual’S Religiosity Enhances Trust: Latin American Evidence For The Puzzle, Maximo Rossi, Pablo Brañas, Dayna Zaclicever

This paper explores the effect of religious observance and affiliation to the dominant religion (Catholicism) on trust in institutions, towards others and market attitudes. The analysis is performed using a Latin American database of twenty thousand respondents from 2004 by means of ordered probit models. The most interesting results are: i) Trust toward others is positively correlated with religious observance and with Catholic affiliation. ii) There is a positive correlation between trust in the government, in the police, in the armed forces, in the judiciary and in the banking system and religious practice in general. Like many libraries over the last several years we have been developing or purchasing technologies such as a Content Management System, an Open URL Link Resolver, an Ask a Librarian System, and a Blogging System that not only support internal functions and communications but also deliver current information and access to resources to our user's desktops.
